International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva is set to visit China, Indonesia, and India to engage with top leaders and participate in key summits. During August 30 to September 3, Georgieva will hold bilateral discussions with China’s senior leadership. She will then travel to Jakarta to join a summit of leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) before attending the G20 meeting for heads of state and government in New Delhi. The IMF recently raised its global growth estimates for 2023, but highlighted persistent challenges in the medium-term outlook. Georgieva will be in Jakarta from September 4 to 7 and New Delhi from September 8 to 10.
