Jindal Power Ltd (JPL), backed by billionaire Naveen Jindal, has decided not to proceed with its plan to bid for Go First, currently undergoing insolvency resolution. The airline, facing a financial crisis, had attracted interest from JPL last month, with an Expression of Interest (EoI) submitted. However, after thorough evaluation, Jindal Power has opted not to submit a final bid, leaving stakeholders and creditors potentially facing asset liquidation. With the last day for bid submission passing, JPL’s decision represents a setback for the airline’s insolvency resolution process.
